Juventus v Real Madrid Champions League Final Betting Odds – Bet365 Offers

Match Odds – Real to Edge Tight Final

Champions League FinalsMassimiliano Allegri’s Juventus and Zinedine Zidane’s Real Madrid go head-to-head in the Principality Stadium in Cardiff this Saturday for a mouth-watering UEFA Champions League final.

These two have certainly been the two strongest sides in the competition this year, so we should be in for a cracking final in Wales at the weekend. Real overcame rivals Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals to reach the last two, whilst Juve saw off the challenge of Monaco with ease.

Real Madrid head to the Welsh capital as the bookies’ favourites, but Juventus are not too far behind. Los Blancos have won the Champions League twice in the last three seasons, while the Old Lady have not been kings of Europe since the 1995-96 campaign.

Finals are usually hard to predict, but this one in particular really could go either way. However, although there’s not a lot to split them on and off the field, we feel experience could turn out to be the deciding factor on the day. Therefore, we’re backing Zidane’s men to win in the 90 on Saturday.

Real Madrid to Win: 8/5 at Bet365

Champions League Final Winner Analysis

No club have won the Champions League/European Cup more times than Real Madrid over the years. Victory in the Welsh capital at the weekend would make them 12-time European champions. The Spanish outfit have been masters of this competition in recent times, reaching the final four every year since 2010, winning it twice along the way.

Meanwhile, Juventus have lifted the trophy on just two occasions in their entire existence, although they did reach the final two years ago, eventually losing 3-1 to Barcelona in Berlin.

These two actually met at the semi-final stage in 2015, with Bianconeri sealing a passage through to the final with a 3-2 aggregate win. Last season, however, the side from Turin were knocked out at the Round of 16 stage by Bayern Munich.

Like we said, this has all the makings of being an extremely close and tense final. We have come out and predicted a win for Real in 90 minutes but the match is sure to be close. If you are struggling to pick a winner in normal time, take a look at 5/6 for the 33-time La Liga champions to lift the trophy in any way, shape or form on Saturday.

Over/Under 2.5 – Goals Galore in Cardiff

Incredibly, Real have scored in every single game this term, which includes 32 times in the Champions League. Since losing to rivals Barcelona in early April, Los Merengues have scored a whopping 26 goals in eight games, winning La Liga and reaching the CL final in the process.

Juventus, meanwhile, have scored in every match since their 0-0 draw with Barca at the Camp Nou in the quarter-final. In fact, they have only failed to score in three games all season.

There has never been a 0-0 draw between these two, with both sides scoring in each of the last four meetings. On the 18 occasions these two have met competitively over the years, Real have won eight, Juve have won eight and two fixtures have ended in draws.

With so much attacking talent on display in both camps on Saturday, we’re predicting there to be a handful of goals in Cardiff. We think it’s a given that there will be over 2.5 goals, which Bet365 has very generously priced at 5/4.

First Goal Scorer – CR7 to Extend Record

Cristiano Ronaldo has enjoyed another record-breaking season for Real Madrid. The striker’s hat-trick against Atletico in the first leg of the semi-finals took his career European tally to an astounding 103 goals. Ronaldo scored in Real’s 4-1 final win in 2014, he also netted the winning penalty last year.

Overall this season, the Portugal skipper has notched a phenomenal 49 goals in 49 club and international appearances. He may be 32-years-old now, but Ronaldo has not lost any of his deadly instinct in front of goal and if anything has looked even sharper playing more centrally. Real’s No. 7 is bang in form, having scored an incredible 14 goals in his last nine outings. 10 of his 49 strikes this season have come in the Champions League.

When these two met at the semi-final stage two years ago, Ronaldo scored both of Los Blancos’ goals in the 3-2 aggregate defeat. He also netted twice against Juventus the year before.

Zidane will be hoping his men start fast in Cardiff on Saturday, and Ronaldo will no doubt be looking to take centre stage right away. We believe there’s no better man than Ronaldo to set Real on their way to victory in Wales, with Bet365 pricing him at 10/3 to open the scoring.

Both Teams To Score – Both to Register in Cardiff

As we touched on, Real have scored in all their 59 league and cup matches this season, and you can almost guarantee they will find the net in the Principality Stadium at the weekend.

As for Juventus, they have conceded just three times all tournament, with only one of those coming in the knockout stages, when Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe netted a consolation goal at the Juventus Stadium in the semi-finals.

With the likes of Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Gonzalo Higuain and Paulo Dybala all chomping at the bit to make an impression, both teams have what it takes to get on the scoresheet.

Champions League finals are often cagey affairs but we think this one will be different. We’re backing both Real and Juve to score in Cardiff, and Bet365’s very decent odds of 19/20 are well worth taking advantage of.
