Premier League Betting Odds - 29-31 October 2016 Tips

This weekend, we’re once again being treated to a terrific weekend of Premier League action. David Moyes’ Sunderland and Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal get things underway with the early kick off from the Stadium of Light on Saturday, and the curtain is closed with Swansea City’s visit to Stoke City on Monday Night Football.

As usual, we’ve got our betting tips, predictions, analysis and live odds comparison for five of the biggest Premier League matches taking place from Saturday to Monday. If you are having a bet on the football’s best league in the world this weekend, then take a look at our Premier League predictions and tips below and make some cash!

Sunderland v Arsenal

We kick things off with Saturday’s early game from the Stadium of Light, where high-flying Arsenal make the trip to bottom club Sunderland. The Gunners are the strong favourites with the bookies to take home all three points, but can the Black Cats cause a shock on home turf?

Taking a look at our live odds comparison, Arsene Wenger’s men are currently priced at 2/5 (Coral) for the win, whilst the hosts are 15/2 with BetVictor. The best betting odds you can get on the draw are 17/4 with Sporting Bet, which is arguably the most tempting price of the three.

However, our betting tip just has to be Ladbrokes’ 6/4 for Arsenal to win to nil. The Gunners may have failed to break down a resolute and stubborn Middlesbrough defence last weekend, but we can’t see them making the same mistake again on Saturday.

Crystal Palace v Liverpool

Saturday’s late kick off comes from Selhurst Park, as Alan Pardew’s Crystal Palace entertain Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. Both sides won the away fixture last year, and both will fancy their chances of claiming maximum points on Saturday.

The Reds are in fine form at present, having won seven and drawn two of their last nine games in all competitions. As for the Eagles, they have had a topsy-turvy start to their campaign, and have not won in three. However, they did manage to shock the Liverpool faithful last year, when they ran out 2-1 winners at Anfield back in November.

On our live comparison at the moment, you see a home win priced at 8/11 at Ladbrokes, with the same bookie offering 7/2 for a Palace victory. However, we’re predicting a draw between these two, which is priced at 31/10 with BetVictor, odds that look generous to us.

Everton v West Ham United

Another mouth-watering game from this weekend’s fixture list is Sunday’s showdown at Goodison Park between Ronald Koeman’s Everton and Slaven Bilic’s West Ham United.

Going into the match, this one really is a tough contest to call. Being at home, Everton will fancy their chances, but the Hammers have certainly picked up of late. After winning just one of their opening seven league games, the east Londoners have now won back-to-back Premier League matches for the first time since April. In contrast, after an outstanding start, the Toffees have not won in any competition since mid-September.

The home win is priced at 5/6 (William Hill), which is currently the best odds you can get on our live odds comparison site. The best betting odds on an away triumph are 18/5 with BetVictor, and the draw is 14/5 (Betway). We predict a narrow victory for the home team, and our betting tip for this one is a 1-0 Everton win (17/2 at BetVictor).

Southampton v Chelsea

The first game of Super Sunday sees Southampton take on Chelsea. Both sides had superb results last weekend – Southampton drew 1-1 away at Manchester City and Chelsea beat Manchester United 4-0 – and both will be going all out for the win on Sunday.

As you can see in our live odds comparison, Antonio Conte’s Chelsea are the 13/10 favourites with BetVictor to get the win. Victory at St Mary’s on Sunday would be their fourth straight Premier League win, and would keep them on the toes of their rivals at the top. The Saints, who have vastly improved over the past few months, are 11/5 at Bet365. The best odds you can get on the draw are 5/2 at Sporting Bet.

We’re predicting a tense and tight affair at St Mary’s, and we’re finding it hard to pick a winner. Therefore, we believe your best bet is backing the draw and both teams to score, which is handsomely priced at 18/5 with BetVictor. Both teams are currently enjoying a purple patch of form at the moment, and a draw would arguably be a decent result all round.

Stoke City v Swansea City

On Monday night, Bob Bradley takes his struggling Swansea City side to the Bet365 Stadium to face an improved Stoke City. After a disastrous start to their campaign, the Potters are on the up after securing back-to-back wins. Meanwhile, the Swans have not won in the Premier League since a 1-0 triumph at Burnley on the opening day of the season.

Going into this crucial fixture, the bookies make Stoke the favourites. The best odds you can get on a home victory are evens with Sporting Bet. Swansea are priced at 3/1 (BetVictor), and you can get the draw at 13/5 with Bet365, which looks about right to us.

After losing four of their opening six Premier League matches, Mark Hughes’ side are now unbeaten in four and have won their last two without conceding. As a consequence, they have now leapfrogged the Welsh outfit up to 16th in the table. We can see it being a comfortable night for the Potters, and we like the look of Coral’s 13/5 for Stoke to win -1.
