Premier League Betting Tips, Odds and Preview including Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur

It turned out to be yet another good weekend for Antonio Conte’s Chelsea, as the Blues eased past Arsenal at Stamford Bridge to maintain their nine-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Meanwhile, there were wins for Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City and Manchester United, whilst Liverpool fell to a shock 2-0 defeat at Hull City. At the other end, victories for Sunderland and Hull tightened things up in and around the relegation zone.

We’ve got live odds comparison, the best betting odds, tips, analysis, previews and more on five of the biggest Premier League fixtures taking place this weekend, including the mouth-watering matchup at Anfield between Liverpool and Tottenham.

Arsenal v Hull City

Saturday’s early Premier League kick off comes from the Emirates Stadium, where Arsene Wenger’s out-of-sorts Arsenal host Marco Silva’s in-form Hull City. With the Gunners dropping a huge 12 points behind the leaders, nothing short of three points will do this weekend.

As you expect, Arsenal go into this one as the strong favourites, with Betfred offering odds as short as 2/7 on our live odds comparison. The best betting odds you can get on a shock Hull win are 11/1 with Betfair, whilst the draw is available at 5/1 (Sporting Bet).

Despite the Tigers’ recent pick up in form, this is a game that Arsenal should be looking to win comfortably. Therefore, we are predicting the home side to win this one -1, which is available at 4/5 at Coral.

Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur

The standout match of the weekend is without doubt the Liverpool v Tottenham Hotspur showdown, taking place on Saturday evening at Anfield. With the pair’s recent contrasting results, Tottenham have now gone four points clear of Jurgen Klopp’s men in the Premier League table.

For one reason or another, Liverpool have made a disastrous start to 2017, as they have been knocked out of the Emirates FA Cup and the EFL Cup, as well as taking just three points from a possible 15 in the Premier League. Their season hit a real low last Saturday, when they were beaten 2-0 at the KCOM Stadium by Hull.

As for Spurs, they are enjoying a purple patch of form at present. The Lilywhites have won seven of their last nine Premier League games, a run that has taken them to second spot in the table. Victory at Anfield this weekend would send a strong signal of intent to their top four rivals.

Looking at the betting odds, Klopp’s men are the 5/4 favourites with Betfred, even though they are bang out of form. Tottenham, meanwhile, are being priced at 13/5 (BetVictor). However, we can see these two cancelling each other out in Merseyside, and we feel there’s good value in Bet365’s 12/5 for the draw, with 1-1 our prediction.

Burnley v Chelsea

The league leaders Chelsea travel to Turf Moor this Sunday to face Sean Dyche’s Burnley in an intriguing PL fixture. Although the Blues head to Lancashire as the big favourites, the Clarets won’t let Antonio Conte’s superstars have it all their own way.

Incredibly, only Chelsea and Tottenham have taken more points on their own patch than Burnley this season. Last year’s Sky Bet Championship winners have been near faultless on home soil, winning nine of their 13 matches at Turf Moor. On the road, however, it’s been a completely different story, as the Clarets have taken just a point from a possible 33.

Regardless of Burnley’s fine home form, the bookies are not giving them much of a chance in this one, with Betfair offering 17/2 for a home win. BetVictor are offering 18/5 for this one to end all square.

Unfortunately for Dyche and co., we predict the Blues to claim another three points this weekend, and believe Sporting Bet’s odds of 17/40 are well worth taking advantage of.

Swansea City v Leicester City

Sunday’s late game comes from the Liberty Stadium this week, as Paul Clement’s Swansea City and Claudio Ranieri’s Leicester City square off in a crucial match in South Wales. With the pair level on points in the Premier League table, this has all the makings of being an intriguing battle.

After losing four straight league matches, things are looking bleak for the Foxes. In contrast, the Swans have made a real improvement under Clement, and they now find themselves out of the drop zone as a consequence.

This really is a tough fixture to call. Being at home, Swansea are the 6/4 favourites at Bet365, with the draw coming in at 12/5 (William Hill). For those of you interested in backing an away win, Sporting Bet are offering decent odds of 21/10. However, we believe Swansea will continue their fine form with another three points this weekend, with Bet365’s 6/4 being your best price.

Bournemouth v Manchester City

After securing back-to-back Premier League victories, Pep Guardiola takes his Manchester City side to Bournemouth on Monday looking to make it three wins out of three. The Cherries need to be careful, though, as no wins in five has seen them drop down to 14th in the table.

According to the live odds comparison, City head to Dean Court as the 1/2 favourites with BetVictor to return to Manchester with maximum points. Meanwhile, the draw is available at 10/3 (Bet365), with a Bournemouth win priced at 13/2 at Betfair.

After following up their superb 4-0 win at West Ham United by beating Swansea 2-1 at the Etihad last week, the Citizens will be eager to keep up their momentum. We fancy Guardiola’s men to build on those two wins. In terms of value, we think Betfred’s 5/4 for City to win -1 at the Vitality Stadium is the standout bet. Our correct score prediction, available at long odds, is City to win 4-1.
