The big question is whether you think that Arsenal should be odds-on to overcome Manchester United on Sunday. On evidence so far, the Red Devils can certainly be opposed. However, the Gunners have not been vintage themselves this season. Despite being high on expected goals, Mikel Arteta’s side only edged past Nottingham Forest and Crystal Palace before a 2-2 draw against Fulham, with the Spaniard not quite finding the winning blend so far although Gabriel Jesus is likely to start this clash.
The Brazilian can certainly offer something different in the attacking position, while this could be a game which is won in the midfield department, with Declan Rice and Bruno Fernandes looking to command control of the game. There’s a question mark over United from an attacking point-of-view despite those three goals that were scored against Forest.
Marcus Rashford certainly looks more comfortable in a wide left position and scored a brilliant goal at the Emirates last term, while Bukayo Saka continues to be the danger man for the home side. We wouldn’t be against the idea of an Arsenal win and both teams to score once again in this game, which looks a better bet than a home victory on its own.
