We’re looking forward to a top-flight showdown between Aston Villa and Manchester City on Wednesday 6 December, with the home side hoping to preserve a 100% home record and there is plenty to recommend them right now. Ollie Watkins’ scoring form continues to be impressive, with Unai Emery having a settled team who recently claimed a 2-1 victory at Tottenham.
Some of the eye-catching home wins include a 6-1 triumph over Brighton and it’s easy to see the Villans finding the net against the champions, even if any goals might represent consolation efforts. Manchester City are trading as the odds-on favourite although it’s interesting to note that they have conceded nine away goals this term.

Manchester City to win, both teams to score and Erling Haaland to find the net could be a nice combination play, while there’s the alternative of including Ollie Watkins who is comfortably the most likely Villa player to score.
