The Swiss Super League was founded back in 1897 and is the top tier of football in Switzerland, ranked by UEFA as the 13th strongest division in European football. Here at our Super League hub page we offer live betting odds comparison for all the games and the outright markets, as well as the occasional betting tips and predictions for the biggest Super League games.
In recent times Basel have dominated the division, winning the Super League title an impressive nine times between 2002 and 2014 and there is no sign of their supremacy waning. Other notable clubs include the fantastically named Grasshopper Club (of Zurich), the equally well-named Young Boys and FC Zurich.
As of 2014-15 there are just 10 teams in the Swiss Super League and they battle for the title, as well as European qualification and, at the other end of the table, to avoid relegation to the Challenge League. One notable point is that Swiss domestic football also includes teams from neighbouring Liechtenstein, although the country’s seven clubs rarely progress beyond the lower reaches of Swiss footballer, FC Vaduz the main exception having occasionally featured in the Super League.
Betting on Swiss football isn’t for everyone but if you want to back your predictions you’ll find all the best betting odds right here.
