Big Brother has always been crazy and even from series one, there have been tempers lost and cross words aplenty. However, there is little doubt that 2017, the 18th series of the show, has been the maddest, baddest, most dangerous Big Brother to date. Brawls, ejections, security storming the house… and that’s just this week!

We’re around halfway through now, with the outright winner to be crowned in around a month’s time. Now seems the perfect time to take a look at some of the key betting markets and pick out our tips and predictions. Of course, as with all major sports, TV shows and political events, we’ve also got live odds comparison too. That means that whoever you think will be crowned the least-deplorable this year, you can easily get the biggest betting odds and maximise your winnings.

The Favourites

If a week is a long time in politics, an hour is a long time in Big Brother. The odds have been moving quite dramatically all series but at the time of writing it is Chanelle McCleary who tops the outright winner betting. You can back the former Ex on the Beach “star” at 3/1 with Ladbrokes.

A little longer is Raphael (Raph) Korine. The 22 year old has already survived a number of public votes and can be backed at best odds of 4/1 with a range of bookies, including Betfair. At more or less the same price we have Ellie Young and the 23 year old Yorkshire lass is another contestant with TV previous, having appeared in Ibiza Weekender.

The final Big Brother contestant at single digit odds in the outright winner market is Isabelle Warburton. The 21 year old Warrington hopeful only came into the house on Day 16 but has already made a major splash in the odds.

The Outsiders

Beyond those four, the field are 10/1 bar. “Anything can happen” is an overused cliché but in Big Brother and in this series particularly, it really is true. With ALL housemates up for eviction this week following the latest violent fracas in the house, we could see yet more turbulence in the odds.

That means that the likes of Kieran Lee (10/1 with Sky Bet), Charlotte Keys (20/1), Deborah Agboola (25/1) or even Tom Barber (at 33/1 with most betting sites including Bet365) could still have a chance.

Of course, there could even be more new additions into the house, whilst following recent events further ejections can’t be ruled out. Indeed, William Hill offer odds of just 2/1 that Essex boy Lotan Carter isn’t the last contestant to be ordered off the show.

With such uncertainty, perhaps a major outsider such as Savannah O'Reilly is worth considering. The Irish singer may be a little on the dull side but with so many huge personalities set to clash that could turn into a strength and odds of 20/1 at Bet365 look decent.

Who will Win?

Well, as said, who knows what might happen! But ultimately we feel the value betting tip right now has to be Isabelle. Her odds have been steadily dropping since she came into the house. It’s unusual for a late entry to challenge, let alone win but this is no ordinary series of Big Brother.

The big-browed, fake-tanned, straight-talking Northerner may glow in the dark and she may not be everyone’s cup of tea. However, at best betting odds of 11/2 we predict she’s the value bet in the outright betting.

Her huge, explosive row with Lotan and in particular the way she kept her calm have really seen punters take a shine to her. Despite him thrown water in her face she was one of the few housemates to keep her cool and she has also handed being bullied very well.

These are traits that the public like to see and if her sense of humour can shine am little more we predict she’ll go all the way. It tells you all you need to know about Big Brother that Isabelle is one of the more normal contestants. She continues to be herself and we think she’s got what it takes so get on now before those odds plummet further.

If you fancy hedging your bets a little more, you could look away from the outright winner betting. Check out the top male or top female betting too. Obviously Isabelle is the top girl for us, whilst Raph, even at odds-on, is the call in the Top Man market. 8/13 looks short but we really can’t see any of the others challenging the psychology student.
