La Liga is unquestionably the best football league in the world, with the might of Barcelona and Real Madrid supplemented by the persistent and remarkable over-achieving of Atletico Madrid. There is little between the three great sides and as the season moves towards the final third we offer up our betting tips and predictions for the La Liga outright betting, as well as bringing you the very best winner odds thanks to our live odds comparison.

Atletico Madrid are the defending La Liga champions, finished third a year earlier and are currently in third having recently opened up the title race even more by hammering city rivals Real 4-0! Many think La Liga is all about the big two but Diego Simeone, who continues to sell his best players, has somehow found a way to challenge that dominance and whilst La Liga is all the more exciting for it, it makes predicting who will win the title that bit harder.

That said, despite the recent thrashing of Real the bookies give Madrid’s second side little hope of retaining their La Liga title. Simeone’s men are priced at best betting odds of 14/1 (Bet365) in the outright winner market, with Real priced as favourites at odds of 11/13 and Barca not far behind at 5/4 with a number of online bookmakers.

It would take a very brave man to predict that Atleti can once more upset the Spanish applecart but given the way Fernando Torres has taken to life back in Madrid and the potentially crucial fact that they have already visited the other three teams in the top four, there could just be some value to be had there. 14/1 is a huge price and they are sure to take huge confidence from the recent humiliation of their great rivals.

Real must travel to Barcelona in March and also to fifth placed Sevilla in the penultimate game of this year’s La Liga and those contests could prove crucial. It would seem that Barcelona perhaps have the most difficult remaining fixtures as they have five away games against sides currently in La Liga’s top 10, as well as that home clash with Cristiano Ronaldo and co.

On balance we have to suggest that a bet on either one of the Madrid sides looks a wiser punt than does a wager on the Catalans. Real are rightfully favourites and many will predict their Galacticos will power to glory. But when dispensing betting tips, who will win is not the only crucial question. Do the odds represent a good bet is equally, if not more, important and in that respect and in terms, therefore, of our betting tips for the La Liga outright market, we feel there is little between odds-on Real and double-digit Atletico.

One thing is certain though, this battle looks set to go all the way and we’ll be watching it closely. Whether you agree with our prediction that the title will, one way or another, remain in Madrid, or you think Lionel Messi and co will wrest it back to Barcelona, if you want the best available betting odds, make sure you use our live odds comparison for your La Liga winner bets… and good luck!
