After the Australian Open, the French Open and Wimbledon comes the US Open, the final Grand Slam of the tennis year and a chance for the best women in tennis to add another Major to their cabinet or, perhaps, for a new star to shine.
The US Open is held on the hard courts of New York’s Flushing Meadows in Queens and with the winner taking home around $2m – and of course the honour and prestige of winning the title – competition is always fierce.
Our betting odds and tips will help you along you way but whoever you predict for success at this year’s US Open, our live betting odds comparison will help you make the most of the tournament by serving up the best odds every time.
Many will be tipping the favourite, Serena Williams, as she seeks to claim a record-equalling sixth open era crown and move level with Chris Evert. Williams is the defending champion but has had a torrid time in the Slams this season and at odds of around 7/4 looks a shade short.
Our prediction this year is for one of the young guns to triumph, with Eugenie Bouchard, Madison Keys or perhaps Simona Halep the women to bet on.
