Chelsea and Arsenal tend to serve up exciting games and this could once again be the case when the pair clash at Stamford Bridge. The Blues might be sitting in mid-table although they have grand ambitions over the coming seasons, with a cool billion spent on new players and the recruitment of Mauricio Pochettino is hoped to reap dividends.

It will be interesting to see whether Pochettino goes all out attack against an Arsenal team who can be considered as genuine title rivals. The Argentine was formerly manager of Spurs and that fact won’t be lost on visiting supporters if the Gunners are able to keep their 100% record intact by claiming three precious points against one of their biggest rivals.

It could be a fiery encounter and both teams to score is trading at odds-on which suggests that goals could be on the cards. Chelsea signed off for the international break by recording a 4-1 win at Burnley, with Nicolas Jackson and Raheem Sterling among the goalscorers, although a draw might be considered a good outcome here.

Chelsea did hold Liverpool to a 1-1 scoreline earlier in the season and perhaps a similar scoreline could be on the cards. Arsenal were foot perfect defensively when clashing against Manchester City, with that central defensive partnership of William Saliba and Gabriel looking watertight, although it will be interesting whether David Raya retains his place in goal.
