Match Betting (1x2)

BATE Borisov are the most successful club in the history of Belarusian football, although the household name actually missed out on the title last season and will be determined to win it back.

Kirill Alshevsky’s side had a problematic start to the campaign which saw them lose away to Energetik-BGU Minsk and Slavia Mozyr, although they have recovered to win their last two matches and another victory here would see them among the top places.

BATE are the 1/2 favourites to win this clash although their opponents have been no slouches so far this term, with the visitors sitting higher in the table after racking up three victories from four games.

Torpedo-BelAZ Zhodino are currently top of the table and they have been particularly miserly in defence, with some punters potentially jumping on board with the 13/2 about the visitors pulling off a maximum haul at the Borisov Arena.

A draw would suit the visitors and you can get 14/5 about this outcome, with Torpedo having lost their most recent away match at Dinamo Minsk although they did win on the road against Shakhtyor.

Asian Handicap

BATE have only played one home match in the league so far, with the team winning a nervy clash against Rukh Brest by a single goal although if you think they’ll enjoy a more handsome margin of victory in this clash, then there’s a chance to back them on the Asian Handicap market.

The home side are 1.850 on the Asian Lines off -1 which means you would need them to triumph by at least two goals in order to profit, while their opponents actually look a more attractive proposition at 1.950 on the Asian market with a +1 goal advantage.

Many bookies also have a Goal Line market on their Asian Handicap lines and Under 2.5 Goals is a 1.775 chance which means a bet on this option would need the match to have only two goals or less.

The Over 2.5 Goals is available at 2.025 and it’s worth noting that there has been at least three goals in five of the previous six BATE matches this season, although their opponents specialise in having a tight defence.

Both Teams to Score

The bookmakers think it’s moderately likely that at least one team will fail to find the net. However, if you think that BATE and Torpedo will score over the ninety minutes, then you can secure odds of 11/10 about that happening.

However, this is a key match in proceedings so far and perhaps both sides will want to err on the side of caution, with 4/6 available about the “No” option on this market.
