Celtic are in a really tough Europa League group and the Scottish side fell on the wrong side of defeat despite a highly entertaining clash against Real Betis where the Hoops were defeated by a 4-3 scoreline. Ange Postecoglu’s side were actually 2-0 up in the game although there were defensive frailties which saw them miss out on any points.
The Bhoys have been chalk and cheese when it comes to home and away form this season, with Celtic having won six consecutive games at Celtic Park and that will inspire confidence that they can make life difficult for a Bayer Leverkusen side who are probably the strongest team in this section.
The German Bundesliga side enjoyed a comeback win against Ferencvaros in their UEFA Europa League group opener, with Gerardo Seoane’s side having finished sixth in their domestic standings last term and they will be eyeing a big run in this competition.
Scottish football fans will be all too aware of Patrik Schick who scored a brilliant goal at Hampden Park at Euro 2020, with a high-scoring clash surely on the cards here and we’re going to side with BTTS Yes here.
