Argentina have not looked particularly convincing in the 2022 World Cup, although they managed to dig out a 2-0 win over Mexico when under severe pressure. Perhaps La Albiceleste will grow into the tournament although it’s hard to get excited about their odds based on the 180 minutes of football that have been served up.

While Lionel Messi is arguably the biggest match winner in the tournament, there is not amount of other creativity within the ranks. Many will blindly put the South American side into their World Cup accumulator bets, although it might instead be worth looking for ways to oppose them.

However, Poland are unbeaten in their two games played thus far. The European side might end up staying top of the section with a draw and they have a master marksman in the form of Robert Lewandowski. The Barcelona forward broke his World Cup duck when scoring against Saudi Arabia and he could pose problems for an unconvincing Argentina defence.

Indeed, Nicolas Otamendi could struggle to live with the striker and there is the opportunity to consider a bet on Poland to win or alternatively the outsiders on the Asian Handicap market where you can back them with half a goal start. We can see things being low-scoring either way.
