We are happy to back the Chicago Bears to cover the line against Los Angeles Rams when the two teams meet for the opening weekend of the NFL season. The Bears are certainly a competitive side based on last year’s performances, with the team scrambling into the postseason after winning eight of their sixteen matches to come through the North section with the Green Bay Packers.
The Bears showed plenty of spirit to rack up the requisite number of wins, with Chicago then given the seventh seeding and it was always going to be a tall order when they clashed with New Orleans, even if the latter were to come off worse when losing to Tampa Bay in the next round.
Some punters might be interested in backing them on the Money Line at a big price to get off to a flyer, with Los Angeles Rams having reached the divisional playoffs in the NFC Championship last season before they were beaten by a Green Bay Packers team who would push Tampa Bay close in the next round.
However, this opening match might be a tough challenge for them against an improving Chicago side and we’ll get with the Bears to enjoy a victory providing that they keep things defensively tight.
