Atalanta and Young Boys both made an encouraging start in what should be a wide open Champions League group and it’s the Italian side who are strong betting favourites to record a victory in Bergamo. The Serie A team have become part of the furniture in this competition, with a 2-2 draw away to Villarreal setting things up nicely for this game.

La Dea have stumbled a couple of times at Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia this season, although they were comfortably on top when drawing 0-0 against Bologna, while the game against Fiorentina was even more on-sided and Gian Luigi Gasperini will be confident that his team can deliver in this clash.

Young Boys came from behind to beat Manchester United and David Wagner’s side have given themselves a live chance of going through to the last sixteen, although they did go 1-0 down against the Red Devils and the game really changed on a red card decision in the first half.

While the Bern side were cheered to victory by a fervent home crowd in that clash, they lack experience for these sort of encounters and Atalanta look a decent bet to claim a victory in this one.
