Chelsea won the UEFA Champions League last season and the Blues are major contenders to win the European Cup once again, with Thomas Tuchel’s side looking even stronger this campaign and they proved way too strong for Malmo at Stamford Bridge two weeks ago, so it’s natural to assume that they will win in Sweden.

Another victory here will practically put the London side into the last sixteen of the competition, although it’s also worth noting that Chelsea will want to ultimately leapfrog Juventus and finish top of their group, with Tuchel wanting to avoid meeting a group winner at the knockout stage which could be a tricky clash.

Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner are unlikely to be available, although Callum Hudson-Odoi is coming nicely into form and taking his chance to get game time, while Mateo Kovacic is having a strong season and the manager is spoilt for choice when it comes to central defenders. It might be that we see Trevor Chalobah operate in the three-man unit here.

Malmo have failed to score in any of their three group games and we’re therefore happy to bet against them scoring at Stadion. The Allsvenskan side did well to win the domestic title but they’re out of their depth against more esteemed opponents and we’ll see a victory for Chelsea without conceding a goal.
