Wales sit behind Turkey, Armenia and Croatia in their qualifying group for Euro 2024, with work on their hands if they are to reach their third consecutive European Championship finals. The Red Dragons now enter the second half of their campaign and they will surely have to register three points at Latvia if they are to finish in the top two.
After all, the ensuing games will see the Welsh clash with Croatia, Armenia and Turkey in their final three encounters, so this is the easiest one on paper. Latvia have lost all three games although the margin of defeat have all been by a single goal. They can’t be taken too lightly after a 1-0 reverse at Wales before a 3-2 defeat against Turkey, with the team then coming close to taking a point at Armenia. We think it could be worth opposing the Welsh in some shape or form when it comes to this clash.
