With Barcelona clear at the top of Group H, there is all to play for here. Okay Celtic missed the opportunity to go second in the group when they lost 1-0 at Ajax, but a win here – as tough as it would be – would put them in that position, assuming Barca beat Ajax in Amsterdam. Even a win might not be enough for the Scots in terms of qualification for the knockout stages given their final group game is an intimidating trip to Catalonia to face Barcelona. But they will go all out for victory all the same.
As will Milan of course. Despite struggling in Serie A – where they are languishing in mid-table, an unfamiliar position for them – they are still a force to be reckoned with and are rightful favourites to win this one. With Milan on five points, just two points ahead of Celtic and one above Ajax, they know they must do a job here, but the pressure is all on the visitors and Celtic often rise to the big occasion.
