Real Madrid v Juventus Match Result
Real Madrid will be targeting a Champions League success this season, with this Spanish giant having conquered Europe fifteen times throughout their history. That includes successes in 2022 and 2024, with Xabi Alonso now at the helm and aiming for several trophies in his maiden season at the Bernabeu.
According to the match odds, Real have a 65% chance of landing a success against Juventus. They have home advantage for a start and they’ve been fairly ruthless in La Liga in front of their own fans. It’s been four victories against Osasuna, Mallorca, Espanyol and Villarreal. They were also able to beat Marseille in the Champions League.
That familiar scoring combination of Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior is hard to topple, although Real Madrid are not defensively watertight and it’s something that Juventus will be looking to exploit. There’s certainly scoring power within the Turin side which could be seen from the 4-4 draw against Borussia Dortmund.
Igor Tudor’s side were 4-2 down in the dying embers of that match before coming through to claim a point, with the 2-2 draw at Villarreal seeing the Serie A outfit take a 2-1 lead at El Madrigal only to concede a late equaliser. With only two points on the board, they’ll be aiming to avoid a defeat in this encounter.
Even so, Juve are only regarded as having a 20% chance of claiming a win in this game. Perhaps the draw is worthy of consideration considering that the Old Lady went into the international break after five straight matches where the games ended all square.
They’ve held Atalanta and Milan on home soil and those games interestingly finished 1-1 and 0-0 respectively to demonstrate that the team are showing improvement from a defensive perspective.
Goals Under/Over
The Champions League betting sites are anticipating that three or more goals will be scored. There’s a greater than 60% chance when it comes to Over 2.5 Goals according to the odds. It’s easy to see this as an outcome considering that there have been a combined twelve goals scored across two Juventus European games.
The floodgates were open during that 4-4 draw with Borussia Dortmund before a 2-2 scoreline against Villarreal. They will face a Real Madrid side who will clearly look to get on the front foot and they’ve notched seven goals in their two European encounters, although five of them were against the relatively weak Kairat.
In between some of the many high-scoring Juventus games, we’ve also seen some low-scoring clashes and that’s why you should approach this game with a degree of care. Juventus might well look to run a tight ship defensively and that could lead to a lower goal count than the odds imply.
BTTS
Will both teams score in this game? Real Madrid have found the net in every clash this season. Los Merengues have scored twenty-nine times in the space of ten matches and that average of 2.9 suggests that getting on the scoresheet won’t be a problem here. The bigger consideration is whether Juventus will score.
Until that goalless draw with Milan before the international break, Juve had scored in every game in all competitions. However, some of those encounters saw Igor Tudor’s side register just one goal. That includes a 1-1 draw away to Verona along with the same scoreline at home to Atalanta.
In that recent goalless draw against the Rossoneri, the Old Lady only managed to have three shots on target. It was a struggle to fashion scoring chances although that result might give them a blueprint when it comes to approaching this encounter. In the most recent Real encounter, it took Los Merengues forty-seven minutes to score against Villarreal.
However, Real did eventually have seven shots on target. Our preference is for a Real win combined with both teams to find the net. We can see this being a 2-1 or 3-1 victory in favour of the Spanish side.
First Goalscorer
Kylian Mbappe is threatening to break all scoring records this season. The French forward is nearly always on the scoresheet, with the player having seventeen on the board already. At the time of writing, it has been ten consecutive matches where the 26-year-old has found the net. He’s arguably the best forward in the world and should be considered for any Bet Builder as far as anytime scorer is concerned.
Vinicius Junior is operating at a more modest rate although the Brazilian has scored six times this season. That includes a brace against Villarreal and he also scored on an international front against South Korea. Arda Guler was also on the scoresheet for his country last time out and the Turk has scored four goals already this term.
Dusan Vlahovic started the 2025/26 season brightly, with the Serbian scoring four goals in as many games. Since then, he’s gone quiet but looks the best chance of Juventus finding the net in this clash. Kenan Yildiz is another player to watch and he was able to score twice during Turkey’s 6-1 dismantling of Bulgaria.
