Burnley are sitting in the relegation zone of the English Premier League table, with the Clarets now accustomed to being in the lower reaches of the standings. Sean Dyche will be relatively encouraged by his team’s recent form where they have been competitive enough to earn three draws from the last four performances.

2-2 draws away to Leicester and Southampton have been pretty impressive and perhaps the most disappointing performance was a goalless draw against Norwich City where the Lancashire side failed to put away a Canaries side who are looking doomed already. However, the signing of Maxwell Cornet looks to be an inspired one.

The Ivorian will look to help Burnley achieve their first win of the season, although we’re expecting a tight encounter and it should be noted that a sum total of six goals have been scored in four matches at Turf Moor, with Brentford looking to avoid defeat and steady the ship after getting beaten 2-1 at home to Leicester.

The Bees are generally quite savvy on the road and they have only conceded twice on four road trips. This included a goalless draw at Selhurst Park, with Brentford knowing that a draw from these sort of bread and butter matches will help in their ultimate aim to bank Premier League survival.
