Burnley v Southampton Betting Odds Comparison

Saturday, 10/08/2019, Time: 16:00

One of the more evenly-matched Premier League openers takes place at Turf Moor on Saturday, with the bombproof Burnley clashing with a Southampton team who will have aspirations to finish in the top half of the table.

The Saints looked strong when they finally disposed of Mark Hughes and replaced him with Ralph Hasenhuttl, with the Austrian wasting little time in re-energising the troops and the improvement of players such as Nathan Redmond was highly impressive.

The South Coast side have recruited Che Adams from Birmingham City and the young striker has the makings of a strong partnership with the injury prone Danny Ings, with the latter heading to his old stomping ground for this clash.

Burnley are hard to back for relegation considering the Sean Dyche spins gold out of straw on a frequent basis, with Jay Rodriguez returning to his former club and therefore lining up against another ex-employee.

The spending has been fairly modest as usual, with Dyche looking for loan players at this point in time and we’re favouring the visitors with a bet that will be refunded if the match ends all square.
