Liverpool remain one of the best teams in the English Premier League although there’s a general feeling that they don’t have enough quality to challenge for the title this season, even with Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez available after being injured for much of the previous campaign.

Roberto Firmino looks set to be on the sidelines for the next few weeks and there was a lack of cutting edge against Chelsea in their previous EPL clash, with the midfield lacking dynamism which is partly down to Gini Wijnaldum going to Paris Saint-Germain even though Harvey Elliott is proving to be bright in the middle of the park.

Leeds United are certainly capable of recording a draw after their previous two matches ended with this outcome. They were especially impressive to twice come from behind to draw with Everton before rescuing a point at Burnley and they are definitely a team who go right until the end.

Dan James was the deadline day arrival to Elland Road and should slot straight into the team with his pace and workrate, with the home support potentially propelling the team to a precious point and denting the title hopes of Liverpool.
