Leicester City have been scoring plenty of goals this season and their tally of fifteen in the first nine matches was a lot higher than several other sides in the division. However, twenty-four goals conceded tells its own story and the 2-1 defeat at Bournemouth was a case in hand as the Foxes took the lead and controlled the game before conceding sloppy goals.
They are the favourites with the Premier League betting sites to claim three precious points against Leeds in this Thursday night encounter, with the Midlands side strangely looking like a decent bet against opponents who have slid down the table after a bright start. Since beating Chelsea 3-0, goals and points have been hard to come by.
There have been just two points taken from five matches, with Leeds having shown a weak underbelly when losing 5-2 at Brentford and two more goals were conceded away to Crystal Palace when losing 2-1. Having played Arsenal four days before this clash, there could be some fatigue still in the legs.
We think a Leicester win and both teams to score could be the bet to place. The Foxes carry a significant threat in the form of Maddison, Harvey Barnes and Patson Daka. Although Patrick Bamford is back to full fitness, there are appears to be a lack of creative attacking spark from Leeds although we can’t trust this defence to keep a clean sheet.
