West Ham are loitering in fourteenth place after a modest start to the season, although they’ve been handed a tough opening run of fixtures. The Hammers will tackle Chelsea in this Saturday lunchtime encounter, with the bookies making them outsiders to win a London derby against big-spending opponents who found a way to win at Bournemouth.

In fairness to West Ham, they have managed to find the net in all four of their games so far. They were able to score a last-gasp equaliser at Fulham when drawing 1-1 thanks to a Danny Ings goal, while Jarrod Bowen continues to be a dangerous attacking player. They are also defensively stronger thanks to Max Kilman in central defence.

However, Chelsea put six past Wolves on the road before edging past Bournemouth, with Robert Sanchez saving a penalty before Christopher Nkunku was able to find a late winner off the bench. It’s clear the visitors pose an attacking threat, with Cole Palmer and Noni Madueke combining beautifully at Molineux when the team ran riot.

The BTTS Yes odds suggest that we’ll see both teams find the net throughout the ninety minutes, with some customers likely to go for a Chelsea win and both sides to score. It’s Palmer who is favourite to open the scoring, although Nicolas Jackson is perhaps the player who can provide the cutting edge for the visitors.
