Swansea will feel confident after that fantastic win in Valencia but their form has been hit and miss and with no wins in their last five games, all of which would have been viewed as winnable, betting on them at a shade over evens does not appeal.

The Welsh side are missing Michu’s goals and with four draws from their last five – the other a demoralising 1-0 loss at rivals Cardiff – we don’t feel they will have enough to get all three points here.

A draw would almost certainly be enough to see both sides progress to the next phase of the Europa League and at good betting odds of 5/2 that has to be the tip here.

The Swans have not been great on home soil this term, picking up just one league win and sharing the points on three occasions. With draws in both their last two Europa League games, albeit due to late goals both times from Kuban Krasnodor, we fancy another stalemate here.

Valencia have a home tie against Kuban to come whilst Swansea travel to St Gallen but it these two teams who we expect to progress to the later stages of the Europa League and a point here would certainly be no disaster for either.
