However, they had previously slipped up against Congo when a Joao Neves opener was cancelled out by Yoan Wissa's equaliser and that now puts them in a position of weakness.
The bookies have the Portuguese as strong favourites to win. There's a greater than 50% chance that they will succeed according to the odds, although they are only a shade of odds-on. There's no doubting the quality of the midfield department where Neves and Vitinha run the show as they do for Paris Saint-Germain.

The man known as CR7 is clearly not the force of old but retains the centre forward role for his country. The Portugal skipper is probably the man most likely to find the net for the favourites, although he will be heavily marked and perhaps there's value outside of this pick.
Bruno Fernandes is best known for being an assist maker although he can carry a threat from long range and it's worth noting that Joao Neves popped up with an opening goal against DR Congo. The midfielder can certainly get into scoring positions against a Colombia side who defend deep enough to cause problems for themselves.
What are the chances of Daniel Munoz scoring for a third consecutive occasion? The right-back does love to get into prominent positions, with Luis Diaz the world-class member of the team who can cause the Portuguese problems from a left-sided position. The Bayern Munich man may well find his way into strong scoring chances.
