There are just four races left in the 2016 Formula 1 season, and the title is still undecided. Nico Rosberg is closing in on his maiden world title, can Lewis Hamilton upstage him with a late comeback? The US Grand Prix is crucial for him. Ahead of that race, we’ve made our predictions, and selected some top betting tips for you to take a look at. Be sure to check out our live odds comparison too to give you the best betting odds around!

In football cliché language, Hamilton has four cup finals ahead of him. He can’t afford to let the gap between himself and his teammate grow any larger. There’s already 33 points between the champion and the Drivers Championship leader. The latest outright winner betting odds make it clear how heavily Rosberg is being backed. He’s the 1/5 favourite, while Hamilton is out at odds of 4/1 with Sky Bet.

Early season predictions after the opening races put Rosberg as the heavy favourite, but Hamilton forced his way back mid-season. It’s going to take an even bigger display from him in these final few Grands Prix if he’s to reclaim his title. The Brit will also need his teammate to falter, as all Rosberg needs are second place finishes from here on in. The German won’t settle for second place of course, he’ll be pushing for top spot, to try and wrap up the title as quickly as possible.

Going into this race, Hamilton is still the favourite to get the win, despite Rosberg looking very high on confidence. Ladbrokes make the British driver available at betting odds of 6/5 to win here, while Rosberg is slightly further out at 13/10 with Bet365. The odds comparison between them and the chasing pack says a lot about F1 at the moment given that third favourite Daniel Ricciardo is priced at a chunky 12/1 with Sky Bet.

The big two are set to fight it out for maximum points once again. That’s obviously not much of a prediction, it’s been that way most of the season. We’re going with the current leader in our betting tips here. It’s just too difficult to look past his strong form. With four wins in five races, he seems overpriced to us at 13/10 with Bet365. The latest betting odds for pole have the German at 21/20 with BetVictor, which seems like a good bet for Saturday’s action.

We’ve also taken a look at the podium finish market, with the top two looking to be little value in the latest betting odds. One man who stands out is young driver Max Verstappen, he’s recorded two second place finishes in a row. Our second betting tip is for the Dutchman to continue that good form, and he seems well priced for a top three finish at 11/10 with 888Sport.

Obviously, whoever you bet on, it pays to use our odds comparison to get the best prices from the top bookies in the business. It scans all the latest betting odds across the biggest F1 markets, from race winner to outright title winner, and compares the prices so you don’t have to. It ensures you get the best odds across every market, meaning you can get the best value on your own predictions.
