Russian Premier LeagueRussia was one of the final countries to implement a football lockdown, although the authorities have now indicated that the Premier League season can officially resume. However, there will still be a delay until Sunday 21 June before we can see the games take place. CSKA Moscow v Zenit St Petersburg is the pick of the matches taking place on that day.

When Will Premier League, La Liga and Serie A Restart?
The English Premier League still haven’t fixed a date for when the matches will resume and the season can be completed. There are ongoing discussions and the situation has been made more difficult by the high death rate in the United Kingdom.
At present, it’s possible that the Premier League matches could restart around mid-June although there are a number of obstacles that need to be overcome first.
With regard to La Liga in Spain, it would appear that the matches could resume from 12 June onwards, with the CEO of the division stating that the plan would be to kick off with the Seville derby involving Sevilla and Betis. However, there hasn’t been official confirmation that this will happen.
As far as Serie A is concerned, there is an appetite to continue the season although no date has been set and it’s plausible that the matches might resume between mid-June and late-June depending on whether it’s safe for the players.
