We’re looking forward to another Boxing Day London derby and much depends on whether Crystal Palace can continue their strong form at Selhurst Park. The Eagles have won over 50% of their home games and they face opponents who have lost over 50% of their away games. It’s therefore no surprise that Palace are trading at around the even money mark.

Wilfried Zaha and Eberechi Eze are the two danger men who have enjoyed a nice recovery break and Palace haven’t been too badly affected by players representing their countries at the World Cup. Joachim Andersson was one player who turned out for a disappointing Denmark although he’ll be back to marshal the defence.

The bookies have Palace as strong favourites, with Fulham signing off for the winter break with consecutive defeats against Manchester City and Manchester United. However, both of these reverses were by a single goal and there will be confidence that the Cottagers can keep earning the sort of results that keeps them afloat.

Perhaps we will see both teams finding the net and you might do worse than Crystal Palace to win and both teams to score. Zaha could be very lively after a rest and we have seen BTTS happen in the majority of Fulham matches this season, with the derby element adding potential fuel to the fire.
