Norwich City are without a point on the board after four games played, although Liverpool, Manchester City, Leicester City and Arsenal have all been played. The next run of games will now offer the Canaries an opportunity to get some points on the board, starting with a clash against another team who were promoted from the Championship last season.

Watford began the season with a promising 3-2 win over Aston Villa, although that is looking increasingly like a false dawn. The Hornets were second best at Brighton before losing at Tottenham and they drew more blanks when losing at home to Wolves last weekend despite some promising attacking play.

Ismaila Sarr looks capable of shining at this level and Moussa Sissoko was a smart buy, although Xisco Munoz will now be aiming to stop the rot after three successive defeats, with our thinking that Norwich City will be the ones to get that valuable three points in this clash. The Canaries will be philosophical enough to consider that their season starts now.

The East Anglian side came within a whisker of earning a point against Leicester and were also competitive when losing narrowly at Arsenal, with Teemu Pukki still a capable operator and the way in which Daniel Farke’s side play could mean that they outscore Watford and achieve lift-off.
