Bournemouth are not a big spender compared to many other Premier League clubs, although Eddie Howe has been given the chance to spend money this summer and the Dorset club have invested around £50 million on new players.

While none of the new influx can be described as a marquee signing, players such as Lloyd Kelly, Jack Stacey and Philip Billing means that the defence could have a brand new look about it, while Arnaut Dajuma and Harry Wilson add to the attacking options.

Wilson spent a successful season on loan at Derby County last term and will now get a chance to enjoy first-team football in the Premier League, although the real star turns are Ryan Fraser, Josh King and Callum Wilson.

King and Wilson are a lively attacking pair and Fraser came out top when it came to providing the most assists last term, with Bournemouth looking capable of landing an opening win as they did against newly-promoted Cardiff twelve months ago.

As for Sheffield United, they will actually have a former Cherry in the form of Lys Mousset, while Luke Freeman and Oli McBurnie have also been notable arrivals although it might take the Blades a while to adjust to this level.

We’ll take the home side to outclass them over ninety minutes, with the attacking quality of King and Wilson likely to get them over the line.
