Perhaps this is the season where Atalanta are serious title challengers, with La Dea having recently established themselves as one of the leading sides in Serie A and there’s plenty to like about an attack-minded side who have splashed the cash to sign goalkeeper Juan Musso from Udinese, while they have managed to retain their best players.

Gian Piero Gasperini steered the team to third place in the table last season, with the Italian looking to make a winning start at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino against a side who finished the campaign perched just above the relegation zone last term and that was a big concern.

We might expect the Turin side to once again struggle and Ivan Juric’s side were short of goals during the second half of the previous campaign which leads us to place a bet on the visiting team with a -1 goal handicap.

Providing that Luis Murial and Duvan Zapata are still not feeling the effects of the Copa America, we can expect them to cause problems for a side who have not been strengthened over the summer and that could set the alarm bells ringing.
